The annual Hoosier Horse Fair kicks off this week with an expanded line up, local and national horse experts, more demos and tons of horsey fun! They have also brought Ma`Ceo back full a full on big top equine entertainment experience. This year’s featured clinicians include dressage champion Yvonne Barteau sponsored by Nutrena, trainer and cutting horse guru Richard Winters, horsemanship expert and trainer Kerry Kuhn, and many others to help you treat, train, manage and distress your horse. The lineup of clinics and educational opportunities this year covers every discipline and facet of equine life even a visit each day from your truly for horses and yoga! New this year is the Ultimate Mustang Challenge where local trainers put their mustangs through a 90 day boot camp and will then show off the fruits of their labors in an exhibition of relationship, skill and versatility. Of course you can see all the different breeds shown daily and visit stallion row or take the kiddos on over to the kids area for fun and crafts. And who could forget the fabulous shopping from hundreds of retail and food vendors. Doors open Friday morning with tickets starting at $12.00 for adults and children under six free.
